Detailed Weddings & Events, L.L.C. plans and orchestrates weddings in Austin and surrounding areas.  We are managed by Deidre Brown, certified wedding planner and member of Nuptial Essentials Association of Wedding Professionals. 

Deidre brings more than 20 years of special event planning and 12 years of planning weddings.  After earning her Bachelor of Journalism degree in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin, Deidre spent most of her career working with non-profit and political organizations.  She planned and managed small and large fundraising galas, banquets and numerous other special events.  She also volunteered and served in leadership roles on the boards of multiple community/outreach organizations, including the Austin Area Urban League, Leadership Austin, Austin Museum of Art and Austin Child Guidance Center. 

It was during the planning of her own wedding more than 10 years ago, that Deidre realized the need to concentrate as much time, if not more, on planning for marriage as she did planning the wedding ceremony.  She knew then, she wanted to work with dedicated couples to relieve them of the many details of wedding planning, so they could instead experience the joys of marriage planning.  Before launching her business full-time, she first took time to enjoy marriage and starting a family.

She has always felt uniquely passionate about planning weddings.  Where most might feel overwhelmed, Deidre finds clarity.  She takes on the challenges of working through unique situations and circumstances, all behind the scene to produce a carefree, seamless wedding day for her couples.
